The URGO Foundation’s initiative stems from its desire to raise awareness on the crucial role of local wound care in resolving infection problems, as a complement to systemic antibiotic treatment.

To pass on the necessary tools and knowledge, the URGO Foundation offers a wide range of training courses for healthcare professionals.

URGO Foundation teams organize dedicated conferences and take part in international events such as SAWC (Symposium on Advanced Wound Care) in the United States.
